The Magical Tears
Once there lived a handsome king and his beautiful queen. The king loved his queen from the bottom of his heart but unfortunately even after 5 year of marriage they were not blessed by child.
There also lived
a wicked girl in the kingdom named Siwana. She practiced all black magic tricks
and wanted to marry the king and acquire all his treasures and luxuries. So she
decided to go to the palace. Siwana disguised as a queen’s maid and entered the
palace. She acted to be friendly with the queen. Soon siwana became a good
friend of the queen and the queen unaware of Siwana’s evil thought shared all
her secret with her.
One fine day,
Siwana told the queen that if she would follow her magical trick and prick this
magical nail on her head, she will soon get a child. The queen was very happy
and agreed to do so.As soon as Siwana pricked nail on the queen’s head, the
queen turned into a small sparrow. Siwana laughed at the sparrow and told about
her evil thoughts and the queen will remain a sparrow until someone removes the
nail from its head.
The sparrow
cried and cried and flew away and Siwana married the king. As the days passed
the king realised that a very pleasant enchanted fragrance coming from the
clothes he wore everyday which was not there before. He enquired about this
with everybody in the palace, but no one knew as to how the king’s clothes are
getting perfumed. He finally decided to find out himself and began to keep a
watch on the clothes being dried in the sun. He was surprised to see: A sparrow
came and sat on his clothes and started weeping and its magical tears flowed on
the king’s clothes. The sparrow continued this everyday and this was the reason
for the beautiful fragrance. When the king went closer, he found a nail was
pricked on the sparrow’s head, he soon removed it thinking that the sparrow
might be in a great pain.
As soon as he
removed the nail the sparrow turned into his loved queen. The queen then
narrated whole story of wicked Siwana and her magical tricks.
Soon Siwana was
punished and thrown out of the kingdom and the king and queen lived happily for
ever.
